I graduated from Rock Valley College in 1995 and spent most of my clinical years at Mayo Clinic Health System - Eau Claire (Luther Hospital). In 2005, I became the Director of Clinical Education for the RT Program at Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC). A few years ago, I transitioned from that role into Simulation, and I’m now the Simulation Education Manager at CVTC. It is my passion, and I love it! During those years, I held various positions on the WSRC Board, including Membership & Education Chair, Delegate, and now President. I've also served as the North Regional Respiratory Care Conference Speaker Committee Co-Chair for many years. In general, I love the WSRC and am extremely passionate about promoting the respiratory therapy profession. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Terry, and we have two adult children, Justin and Amber. I enjoy traveling, hanging out at our tiny lake house, and Wisconsin sports, especially the Brewers and Packers!

I have been a Respiratory therapist for over 35 years!! In the beginning of my career, I got just enough experience to become a traveler. I worked in Atlanta and Boise Idaho. I fell in love with my assignment in Boise and worked in a level III NICU doing air and ground transports for 11 years. I moved back to Maine (my home state) and continued to work with neonates but also got experience with adults. I also became a clinical instructor and was an adjunct instructor in a local respiratory program. I moved to Milwaukee in 2014. I have been a staff therapist and am now in my favorite position-educator. I am excited to be supporting and promoting this wonderful profession! I am happily married with three adult kids and one grandchild.
