By joining the AARC you help strengthen the foundation of the Respiratory Therapy profession! This also helps the WSRC because AARC members are automatically members of either the state society where they live/reside or the state society where they work - member choice.

ADVOCACY

By becoming a member, you help the AARC and WSRC to gain access and strengthen our position and credibility with lawmakers and administrative agencies at both the state and national levels. On the national level, the AARC aggressively advocates to recognize the value of respiratory therapists by establishing an annual agenda to inform and educate Congressional leaders about the profession and how respiratory therapists improve the lives of their respiratory patients through their expertise and skills. On the state level, the WSRC hires and works with a lobbyist to ensure our profession and patients remain
